Alex Murray

Alex is a Podiatrist with a special interest in sports medicine, paediatrics and musculoskeletal disorders of the foot and lower limb. Graduating from La Trobe University with a Masters of Podiatric Practice, he has experience across multiple settings, with mentoring from multiple nationally recognized Sports Podiatrists, including 4 years under Paul Fleet, Certified Sports Podiatrist and 3 x Australian Olympic Team Podiatrist.


In addition to his undergraduate studies, Alex also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Otago, New Zealand awarded with Distinction, the highest honour conferred by the University. He has also undertaken post graduate level study in lower limb biomechanics and advanced orthotic therapy and is currently working towards achieving the title of Certified Sports Podiatrist, a protected title currently held by only 3 Podiatrists in Australia.


Outside of the clinic, you won’t find Alex sitting still. In addition to his passion for cooking and guitar, he currently participates in multiple martial art styles, latin dance and is part of a salsa choreography group. He also sits on the Sports Medicine Australia (ACT) board.
